Maame is an advocate for indigenous women and the vulnerable in Ghana and across Africa. Maame has dedicated her professional life to supporting various groups through her work with street children, refugee camps, and juvenile prisons. 

She has also been active in promoting entrepreneurship amongst young people especially women. She was one of the pioneers of Today’s Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) Ghana, which was eventually adopted by the McDan Group of Companies and turned into the McDan Entrepreneurial challenge in Ghana. Maame is a Global Shaper (World Economic Forum) with the Cape Coast hub in Ghana.

She is a strong advocate of supporting and equipping the next generation with digital skills and tools that will prepare them for a future that will be dominated by technology.
Maame holds an LLB. She also has certified qualifications in Entrepreneurial Development Programmes and Peace & Conflict resolution.
